Comic Relief is just round the corner, so we’d like you to bring in a £1 donation for charity. You may also bring in £1 for a red nose. All the money raised will go towards countries all over the world to help children with no education, or with a disability.
This year, we will be celebrating Comic Relief in school following the Comic Relief theme ‘Make your face funny for money’. Children can come into school on Friday 13th March 2015 wearing red clothes, face paint and with a Red Nose.
Red Noses will be available to buy at break times from next Monday, the 9th March, for £1. Children wearing red clothes and face paints will need to bring in an additional £1 donation on Red Nose day itself. Red Nose Day T-shirts may also be worn.
This Red Nose Day, if you find a Golden Nose, you will become a Very, Very Important Person. You will become the most special of all Comic Relief’s guests, spend time at Dermot’s Day of Dance, meet celebrities, see your name in lights at the BT Tower and enjoy the full blown celebrity treatment at the London Palladium for the greatest night of entertainment Comic Relief have ever put on. It’s an experience you and a guest will never forget. But there’s more. You’ll have top notch accommodation, be fed at Jamie’s Italian and you’ll receive a Golden Goody bag rammed with presents.
Because you’re so very Golden, if that doesn’t sound like your kind of thing, you can choose instead to be our most special guest at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical. You’ll sit in the Royal Box, you’ll tour behind the scenes, meet the cast, enjoy a special Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tea from swanky London hotel One Aldwych and have top notch accommodation. It’s the greatest, most golden gift Comic Relief and their very generous friends and supporters have ever bestowed and you could be one of the Lucky Twelve. All you have to do is find a Golden Nose. There’s gold in them there aisles. Now get out and find one!
